I can't remember the last time I started and finished something the same day - if ever, in fact. A little cowl, to use up the biggish ball of cashmerino left after Cozy was done.
And cozy, it certainly is. I caught Osca performing his Blocking Cat routine on it this morning. All curled up and snuggly on damp wool. I have a photo on my iPhone to prove it (although it's a nightmare to get photos off the damn thing, so I make no promises to show you).
The yarn that used to be Rivolo is much happier being these fancy twisted rib socks, I think. I will never notice the pink on my feet and it's not so wildly variegated as to annoy me.
I also thought I should give this pattern another try - especially as I've asked for Cookie A's book as a Chrissy pressie ...
And the two skeins are quite clearly different intensities of the same colour. And I don't like the middle pattern. And there's no rescue for poor Aeolian.
Finally, a good use for the Debbie Bliss Cotton Cashmere. It needs some kind of fastener though - I have a little yarn left but it won't make a very long i-cord.
I suppose I should consider a button, and wear what I make, but the Mink is a very strange colour - sort of grey, sort of brown.
