When making the charms for my Triangulation bracelet, I didn't really think about the dimensions. I just so happened across the perfect triangle. Which was great.
But then I thought I'd like to make a smaller version, which would need smaller charms. And how big or small on the inside would work best? And how big would the triangle end up? (And how many triangles would I need to fit around a 7" wrist?)
From my experiments, it seems that there is a definite link between the number of beads on the inside edge and the outside edge. Too many and the triangle is flat and puffy. Too few and the triangle is flimsy and insubstantial.
Out of the five, number 3 and 4 look right to my eye, but mathematically there was only one right formula. That's what trials (for triangles) are all about.
